Nesper Sign is seeking a Fabrication Designer to support our growing team. This role creates accurate, production ready drawings for a wide range of custom signage projects, working closely with both sales and production to ensure projects are designed efficiently and built correctly.

Responsibilities
  • Create fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator
  • Design custom signage including building signs, monument signs, pole signs, vinyl graphics, and vehicle wraps
  • Prepare DXF files for CNC and production use
  • Interpret project specifications from the sales team
  • Collaborate with production to ensure designs are feasible and accurate
  • Revise and update drawings as needed
  • Maintain organized project documentation
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of fabrication design experience, sign industry preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience with DXF files
  • Strong understanding of fabrication methods and materials
  • Ability to read and create technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

We are hiring MIG and TIG Welders to join our growing fabrication team. This is a hands on role for individuals who can produce quality welds, work from blueprints, and handle custom fabrication and repair work in a shop environment. Whether you are experienced or developing your skills, we are looking for people who take pride in their work and want consistent, long term employment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum
  • Complete custom fabrication projects from blueprint to finished product
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Repair and modify fabricated components
  • Perform basic low voltage electrical wiring
  • Operate welding and shop equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
  • MIG and / or TIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints
  • Fabrication experience preferred
  • Welding certifications are a plus, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and work quality
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Sign Installer and Erector to join our installation team. You will install various types of signage on buildings and freestanding structures. This role includes occasional travel and working at heights up to 100 feet.

Responsibilities
  • Install wall signs, pylon signs, and freestanding structures
  • Use power tools including hammer drills and impact drivers
  • Perform low voltage electrical connections for sign lighting
  • Dig caisson holes and set structural pipes
  • Read blueprints and site plans for sign placement
  • Travel with overnight stays, approximately every two weeks
  • Work outdoors and at significant heights using proper safety equipment
Qualifications
  • Experience in sign installation, construction, or a related trade
  • Strong skills using battery operated tools
  • Working knowledge of low voltage electrical wiring
  • NCCCO Crane Operator License, telescopic boom, strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working at heights of 10 to 100 feet
  • Physically capable of lifting, digging, and outdoor labor
  • Valid driver's license, CDL a plus
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening

We are seeking an experienced Vinyl Applicator to join our production team. This position is ideal for a skilled trades professional with sign shop experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and is interested in long term growth opportunities, including installation and production leadership roles.

Responsibilities
  • Apply cut vinyl and digital prints to vehicles, windows, panels, walls, murals, and sign faces
  • Perform partial and full vehicle wraps
  • Prepare surfaces and materials for vinyl application
  • Laminate prints and handle weeding, masking, and trimming
  • Cut, stretch, and attach awnings as needed
  • Read and interpret work orders, layouts, and production instructions
  • Assist with sign fabrication and on site installations
  • Perform quality control and final inspection of finished work
Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years of vinyl application and sign shop experience required
  • Proficiency with cut vinyl, digital print application, and vehicle wraps
  • Experience with window graphics, wall murals, and lamination
  • Familiarity with FlexiSign, Adobe Illustrator, Onyx, or similar software
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license required

Nesper Sign Advertising is hiring a full time Sign Installer and Crane Operator. This position requires a CDL license and an NCCCO Crane License with a clean driving record. If you are applying for the assistant position, you must have a clean driving record and be insurable. Candidates must be dependable, flexible, able to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors, and be safety conscious.
